PRIMARY PURPOSE:

To accompany high school and middle school choirs and choir classes on keyboard instruments (piano, organ, electronic synthesizer, etc.) during the regular school day as scheduled by the head high school choir director; to promote a positive working relationship, among and between staff, by establishing a climate conducive to open communication and productive work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Music

Special Knowledge/Skills:

 A musician that is highly developed with very strong piano performance skills and a knowledge of the art of accompaniment; Communicate effectively (verbal and written); utilize effective interpersonal skills; knowledge of performance literature for secondary vocal music students.

Experience:

Three (3) years of experience as an accompanist in an educational setting, private setting or solo and ensemble accompaniment experience

Minimum:  $191.53

Midpoint:  $235.00

Maximum: $278.48
