PRIMARY PURPOSE:

To be responsible for helping to maintain the physical school plant and grounds in a condition of operating excellence so that full educational use of it may be made at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

High School Diploma or GED, preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to handle and to use potentially harmful cleaning supplies safely and efficiently

Knowledge of basic techniques of minor repairs of building and grounds maintenance

Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance and safety procedures

Experience:

One (1) or more years working in custodial services, preferred

Workdays:  242

Hourly Pay Range:

Minimum:   $9.55

Midpoint:    $11.50

Maximum:  $13.46

Note:  Starting pay for a new hire in a pay range plan will be determined individually based on each person's job-related experience and salaries paid to peer employees in the same position with similar experience.
