PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Assist the Special Education Program in the provision of supplemental instructional tutoring of special education students in collaboration with the District-aligned curriculum for the purpose of meeting grade level state assessment goals and preparation for on-time graduation of productive citizens.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

Associate’s Degree or a minimum of 48 college hours, required

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately; ability and sensitivity in working with economically disadvantaged children; knowledge of general office equipment and digital technology

Experience:

Experience in working with students, preferred

Workdays:  174 days / 4 hours per day
