PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Responsible for delivering excellent customer service to the District warehouse customers and addressing their needs timely and accurately. Also responsible for processing warehouse transactions in the District warehouse through accurate physical and perpetual inventory systems, through proper documentation of shipment and inventory transfer requests, and through systematized protocols of safety stock procurement. To assist in the day to day operations of an efficient and effective warehouse including the service to customers and vendors, the management of shipment tracking and inventory systems. All primary duties to be performed are to ensure needed supplies and equipment are provided to schools and departments to maximize student learning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or equivalent, required
Valid Texas driver’s Class C license, required
Clear driving record, required
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to perform data processing computer tasks, required
Knowledge of general office procedures, required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, preferred
Proficiency in English and Spanish, required
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, required
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, required
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in data processing, accounting, purchasing, inventory, fixed assets, logistics or related, required

Hourly Pay Range:
Minimum: $16.73
Midoint: $20.04
Maximum: $23.35
Note: Starting pay for a new hire in a pay range plan will be determined individually based on each person's job-related experience and salaries paid to peer employees in the same position with similar experience. |
