PRIMARY PURPOSE:
With collaboration from department leadership, establishes, modifies, coordinates and communicates the assignment, scheduling and routing of student transportation operations. Maintains a variety of department records. Performs a wide variety of specialized and analytical duties related to the safe and efficient operation of a comprehensive school bus system so that students can fully access the district’s academic and extracurricular program. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or GED, required
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), required
Passenger and School Bus Endorsements, required
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge of computer applications related to specific job functions; strong writing and communication skills; working knowledge of two-way radios and multi-line telephone systems; must have a pleasing personality and ability to get along with adults; ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of personalities in situations requiring diplomacy, friendliness, confidentiality, poise, tact and good judgment; fluent in English and Spanish.
Experience:
One (1) year of experience in related field, preferred

Hourly Pay Range:
Minimum: $14.75
Midpoint: $17.46
Maximum: $20.17
Note: Starting pay for a new hire in a pay range plan will be determined individually based on each person's job-related experience and salaries paid to peer employees in the same position with similar experience. |
