2021 SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM - FACE-TO-FACE/DISTANCE LEARNING ON-LINE/VIRTUAL
Qualifications: Degreed & Texas Certified and/or licensed in the area of interest
High School Teachers-Degreed and Certified teachers with classroom experience (3-5 yrs) to provide credit recovery and/or acceleration instructional support for migrant in-coming nineth graders and upper classmen using the A Plus on-line credit recovery program. Teachers must be certified in high school subjects and experience with high school teachers. May include certified dyslexic teachers based on summer enrollment. Experience with migrant students preferred, strong federal programs documentation and accountability required. Highly dependent on enrollment especially dyslexic migrant students.
Middle School Teachers-Degreed and Certified teachers with classroom experience (3-5 yrs) to provide in-class support supplemental services in reading and math instruction to migrant students in summer remediation classes. Special consideration will also be made to encourage eligible dyslexic migrant students to attend summer classes to increase student success. Includes certified dyslexic teachers based on summer enrollment. Experience with migrant students preferred, strong federal programs documentation and accountability required. Highly dependent on enrollment especially dyslexic migrant students.
