PRIMARY PURPOSE:
This position is within the Office of Communications (MITV) which leads strategic communications, branding and marketing for McAllen ISD. MITV is charged with working with the entire McAllen ISD community to create a strong, actionable brand in the minds of people throughout the community. The MITV Creative Digital Videographer/Editor is responsible for helping translate McAllen ISD’s marketing objectives into creative strategies and visual designs, and for fostering the kind of environment that encourages innovation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree, preferred
-or-
5 years of full-time television production experience in Marketing, Community Relations or Broadcast Journalism, required
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Television Production
Strong public relations, media relations, communications, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in image editing software such as Photoshop, Premier, and After Effects.
Experience with Canon/Sony DSLR camera, lenses, and workflow
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in a communication related field, required
Work Days: 217
Hourly Pay Range:
Minimum: $25.09
Midpoint: $29.86
Maximum: $34.63
Note: Starting pay for a new hire in a pay range plan will be determined individually based on each person's job-related experience and salaries paid to peer employees in the same position with similar experience. |
