This position is funded through ESSER funds and will be renewed on a yearly basis up to 3 years contingent upon the availability of funds.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To assist the school principal with: providing instructional leadership guidance and direction to campus staff, coordinating student activities, ensuring appropriate implementation of campus and district initiatives, assisting with progress monitoring, and facilitating PLC discussions to ensure student academic success; to promote a positive working relationship, among and between staff, by establishing a climate conducive to open communication and productive work.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree, required
Master's Degree, required
Texas Mid-Management or other appropriate certificate, required
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Communicate effectively (verbal and written); utilize effective interpersonal skills; interpret data, federal and state laws and policies; demonstrate broad-based knowledge of curriculum, demonstrate knowledge of teaching philosophies and instructional strategies; demonstrate ability to evaluate student programs and teaching effectiveness; demonstrate a strong understanding of effective leadership
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience as a classroom teacher, required
Days: 187 plus 20 additional
Daily Rate pay range:
TEACHER SALARY / Per Year plus additional stipend
Note: Starting pay for a new hire in a pay range plan will be determined individually based on each person's job-related experience and salaries paid to peer employees in the same position with similar experience.
