PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Assist the Migrant Education Program in tutoring migrant students; work under the supervision of migrant staff and maintain accurate files at all times.
Education/Certification:
Minimum 48 college hours ($10/hr) for elementary positions only
Minimum 48 college hours ($10/hr) or bachelor's degree ($19/hr) for secondary positions only
Must have reliable transportation at all times
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Fully bilingual; ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately; ability and sensitivity in working with high need, economically disadvantaged students; knowledge of general office equipment, high level of technology skills
Experience:
Experience in working with students, preferred
Strong background or college courses in core subjects for secondary levels.
Working Days: 187 / 4 hours per day
Must have a flexible schedule during school days and hours (19 hours/week) |
