PRIMARY PURPOSE:

To provide tutoring instruction to GEAR UP identified students not showing adequate progress in core subject areas and to provide enrichment activities for those students, not in need of tutoring.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

48+ College Hours, required

Strong in academic areas (core subjects, ELA, Math)

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Basic secretarial/computer skills

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to use personal computer and software

Experience:

Previous experience tutoring students

College student and/or former tutor, preferred

Working Days:  174 / 3-4 hours per day (19 hours per week maximum)

Hourly Rate:  $10.00
