This position is funded through ESSER funds and will be renewed on a yearly basis (up to 2023-24) contingent upon the availability of funds.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Assist teachers in collaboration with the district-aligned supplemental curriculum that support and encourage grade level achievement on state assessments of students that lead to on-time graduation and becoming productive members of society.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree, required
Texas Teaching Certificate, required
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Bilingual preferred; ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately; ability and sensitivity in working with economically disadvantaged children; Reliable transportation at all times
Experience:
Classroom experience, preferred
Workdays: 174 / Hours: 3-4 hours Monday thru Friday - 19 hours maximum |
